Bat Filer can display and print any TEXT type file. The size of the file that can be opened is limited only by available memory. The number of TEXT file windows that can be opened is limited only by memory. See the section below on the "Text" menu for changing the font, font size, and other attributes of TEXT windows.
At the top of each TEXT window is a status line that shows:
• Number of characters in the file
• Number of lines in the file: this is affected by font size, word wrap, etc.
• Vertical scroll position of the file
• Number of pages to print the file; this uses the page size specified by the last Page Setup command.
Note that Bat Filer reports are saved as TEXT files.
